Conic and Pyramid Straight Line

The formula is a result from substitution and trigonometric functions. I had composed formula to simplify calculation. As picture above shown that it's easy to calculate conic straight line . Just put the value to the formula and we will find the result with simple way.

This formula can be apply also to calculate Pyramid straight line.

Known:
D  = Major Diameter
d   = Minor Diameter
L1 = Straight line from major diameter to minor diameter
L2 = Straight line from minor diameter to end point
L   = Straight line from major diameter to end point

The truth of formula can be prove by  long curve integral application equation as shown figure above.
